Concept:
It was pretty obvious to our guest author (and to us) that the most compelling attribute of the featured coin is that the only one graded higher at PCGS (and it was just half a grade higher at MS68) sold for an astronomical $109,250 at the Heritage ANA sale last August.

Making this spectacular-iffic 67+ seem like a pretty good deal in comparison.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We knew we were going with some form of this idea, starting with "The look says MS68, the price, not so much."

But we thought that might not be understood by the majority of our readers (or at least the ones who don’t study the auction prices realized of Walking Liberty Half Dollars).

So we went for the slightly more overt approach seen in our final ad.
