Concept:
When you are fortunate enough to own an artifact like this spectacular, rare, super gem, by far and away finest known gold Washington Funeral Medal that by all rights should be in a museum (and not just any museum – a big important one with a giant marble staircase leading up to the door), it is not time to whip out a groan inducing pun. Nope.

Instead, one should probably say something meaningful, with gravitas, like we have here.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
The only issues we debated this week were how to describe this medal without losing the elegance of simplicity.

Which we did by showing the slab with its detailed label description thus obviating the need to write anything more than we did in the caption.
