Concept:
We’ve found through the years that as ad captions go short and sweet is often best.

A mindset we clearly adopted this week with what believe is actually our shortest ever caption, here describing this choice mint state Philp V 8 Reales as an engine connoting “V8.”

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
For a brief moment this ad almost turned into a V8 vegetable juice spoofing “I coulda’ had a V8.“, but aside from being sort of corny, that didn’t actually make any sense since it implied that this coin was already sold.

And while we could have re-worked that into something less illogical, we thankfully abandoned that idea well before that point, going instead with the two character solution in our final ad.
