July 11, 2011: "We Buy Colonials"

Concept:
Like clockwork (provided your clock only comes on every 3 months) we are back with another version of our adamant "We Buy Colonials" ad, reinforcing the fact that we are actively, aggressively and always interested to buy nice colonials in any grade, from common pieces to extremely rare varieties (and everything in between).

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
There was never any question about the caption here (since we use this same one each time); the images, on the other hand, required a great deal of thought.

We briefly considered using some extremely rare and less recognizable pieces, but figured that it would be best to stay slightly closer to the numismatic mainstream with the superb New England Shilling, uncirculated(!) Vermont Landscape copper and extremely red Washington piece seen here.

And while these are all nice pieces, we will nonetheless cast them aside in favor of three new items in the next iteration of this ad which will appear sometime around the beginning of October.
