November 25, 2013: "Wreath worth reaching for"

Concept:
The goal this week was a challenging one: Highlight this lovely, original, old-holdered, CAC-ified Wreath Cent while gently acknowledging that, yes, you CAN get an ugly one in the same numerical grade holder for less money (which is of course a numismatic truism for all nice coins, and something we are always cognizant of in these CW ads, since there will undoubtedly be plenty of other ads in the same issue offering all kinds of things at seemingly bargain prices).

So we figured we’d tackle this issue head on using this memorable tongue-twisting caption that emphasized the aspirational aspect of this piece.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We bandied about a few old favorites, like "Rare Coppertunity.", and the expanded "Wonderful 18th century coppertunity.", before concluding that they really weren’t addressing the key issue here.

So we went with the caption in our final ad.
