Concept:
This ad was written (skillfully, in our opinion) by one of our clients who found rich caption fodder in the interesting Ben Franklin designed imagery of this issue.

No doubt that some coins lend themselves to multiple caption ideas, and this is one of them.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
There were many alternatives in this case, including 12 (twelve!) by our prolific client from which we also considered using "We certainly don’t mind your business.", a clever play on the obverse legend.

Our own caption alternative was "Shouldn’t your large cent collection start here?" which we thought was interesting because it provided the tidy double meaning of ‘here’ as both the first authorized cent of the United States (true), and as the dealer from whom you should buy one.

But we decided that the weather forecast concept was the right choice for this coin, and so we went it.
