A very pleasing, all original, well balanced and relatively well struck example of a variety about which Walter Breen once remarked "All specimens examined are dogs, due doubtless to weak striking and weakly cut dies.”

But this one is well above average, sharper and more complete than the Noe plate coin which later appeared in the Ford sale, and about as nice as one could hope to obtain for this issue.
