And this is a neat piece, with good detail and pleasing golden-olive color wth a hint of rose toning.

Though it is a different coin, this piece is similar to but perhaps a tad sharper than the example sold as lot 36 in Stack’s October, 2005 sale of the John Ford collection, and which later re-traded at Stack’s January 2007 Americana sale.
