Another wonderful piece which just happens to be a very tough variety – particularly in the choice condition seen here.

Indeed, we’ve handled just one Noe-11 we’d consider definitely finer than this example, that being the Ford primary coin which graded AU58 and which we sold for $34,000 about 5 years ago.

And while this one is not quite at that lofty level, it is a bit more evenly struck and a bit more original, with rich coin gray color, pretty blue toning and some ancient crust in the devices that someone may try to dip off in order to upgrade this piece, but it won’t be us.
