Berm.-1903, KM-274 variety.
An extremely interesting coin which eschews the standard portrait of some guy with long hair seen on many pieces of this era, and instead shows an ornate table heaped with coins (all of which are raw, as this was about 420 years prior to the advent of slabbing).
With the legend on this coin translating to (roughly) ‘worry and hunger for greater things accompanies money as it grows.’ In other words, money doesn’t buy happiness.
The piece itself is choice, with very attractive silvery gray surfaces and subtle blue and golden toning.
This coin is from the CRO archives and is not currently available for sale.
