One of the few French colonial issues which definitively circulated in the American colonies, and an underrated piece typically seen in low grade with problems.

This one is highly unusual in that it is well struck from an early state of these dies, with complete legends on both the obverse and reverse, well centered, pleasing golden brown, totally original and about as nice as you might ever hope to find.
