Fr#NJ-183 variety, March 25, 1776. Serial #2594.
Always a popular note based on its vivid red and blue printing.
Not to mention that the intricate border of this issue was engraved by David Rittenhouse, with his name in tiny letters hidden in the design. Rittenhouse would of course later become the first Director of the United States Mint in 1792.
This a very pleasing note overall, with just a few old marks scattered about.
