Miller 4.1-G, W-2525, considered to be Rarity-3 as an issue, but most survivors are not nearly as nice as this one.

And the few that are high grade are very expensive, including the Ford coin which was described as "AU" in the 2005 Stack’s auction and realized $6,325.

In comparison, this one is higher grade, and considerably more lustrous, though with some reverse planchet striations which were absent on that specimen.

Lovely overall, with especially nice golden brown color and undoubtedly high in the condition census for the issue.

Ex Stack’s-Bowers sale of the "SLT Collection" (from the estate of our friend Steve Tanenbaum), lot #7096; earlier acquired by Steve at Heritage’s April 2002 Auction, lot #7730, where it realized $3,910 a decade ago.

Note that this coin has been verified by CAC.
