Another classic END OF PAIN piece, here with the typical depiction of Thomas Paine hanging on the obverse, and the ‘The Wrongs of Man’ reverse (a defacto book review of Paine’s controversial ‘The Rights of Man’ published in 1791). The Jan. 21st, 1793 date shown marks the execution of Louis XVI of France.

This is a nice medium brown AU with bold details.
