To quote eminent large cent researcher Denis Loring: “The Heads of ’93 are considered the aristocrats of the many 1794 varieties."

And this is a condition census example of this distinctive type.

All original, with pretty golden brown color and some areas of darker toning, mostly on the reverse.

There are a few ticks and minor marks here and there, but none are especially distracting and, on balance, this is a lovely example with anything materially better – if it could be found at all – likely to cost multiples of this price.

Note that this coin has been verified by CAC.
