A neat piece with an image of a dude in a ponytail on the obverse (presumably Mr. Lackington), and an angel blowing a bugle on the reverse. 

Perhaps a precursor to Amazon.com, Lackington touted himself as the (and I quote) "CHEAPEST BOOKSELLER IN THE WORLD".  We’re not sure if that was true or not, but there you have it.

The token itself is a beautiful light tan, with impressive cartwheel luster and considerable 214 year-old mint red remaining. 

A delightful item to behold.
