Browning-2 variety. Considered to be Rarity-3 with an original mintage of just 6,146.
A pretty example of this ever popular and rare type, with ancient sea green and golden ‘museum toning’ along the rims fading to light silvery gray in the centers.
There are a few scattered nicks and some very light toning streaks on the reverse near the eagle’s head which we note for accuracy, but the overall look is quite pleasing and original.
A classy piece, far nicer than that typically seen at this grade level.
