Breen-1084 variety, holed for suspension at the upper obverse, as are all but a couple of the known examples.
This specimen also exhibits the typical wear pattern at the bottom of the obverse and reverse, as is expected of a piece which has been worn for a long period of time on a necklace (presumably by an Indian, not a coin collector).
But in color and surface quality, this is an unusually choice and attractive token, with nice, even golden brass color and mostly smooth surfaces without the deep ruts and scratches usually seen on this type.
