O-117a variety, with Square Base 2 and Small 8’s. Considered to be Rarity-1.

We purchased this coin raw and thought it would grade AU53-55. It didn’t. I suppose we could keep resubmitting it, but thats really not our mission in life.

Regardless of the tag label, this is a pretty coin, with nice peripheral toning on both the obverse and reverse and just a couple of small nicks in the left obverse field.
