With an absurd and slightly inappropriate helmeted portrait of Berthold V, Duke of Zähringen, and the arms of Bern on the reverse surrounded by a legend commemorating the 700th anniversary of its founding.  Wow, that’s old.

The piece itself is a lovely near gem with delicate violet toning.
