One of the keys to this popular series, and one of the ‘old-school’ 20th century error coins which can actually be seen with the naked eye (as opposed to a lot of the newfangled ones which have been added to the reference books and price guides through the years, and which remind your author of Hans Christian Andersen’s children’s story ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’).
