A superb example of this challenging type with pretty blue, golden orange and a hint of mint green pastel toning and absolutely off-the-charts luster (seriously – look at that slab photo!).

The MS65 and MS66 Monroe commems from the same Guttag Collection sold for astronomical numbers at the Stack’s-Bowers ANA auction in 2011, while this just-about-as-nice example slipped under the radar in our opinion (relatively speaking, of course, since this coin is priced quite high for a coin in a 64 holder.  But it looks absolutely nothing like most of the ones we’ve seen).
