Maz-2536A variety, Essai by H. Dropsey.  Struck in Aluminum Bronze.

A neat Art-Deco pattern issue with an obverse portrait of Marianne, national symbol of the French Republic, a personification of liberty and reason, and a portrayal of the Goddess of Liberty, and stylized Wheat Stalks on the reverse.
