One of our favorite Newman purchases, this was one of just 2 coins in the entire sale deemed worthy of a Gold sticker by CAC (making it the definitive Newman souvenir in our view).

That also explains why we we bid $5,250 on it in the auction, though we were pleased to buy it for much less.
