We literally started building this set about 18 months ago – and just acquired the final piece within the last few weeks.

Our goal was to assemble a nicely matched set of XF / AU pieces from any mint to represent the 5 Pillar denominations: 1/2, 1, 2, 4 and 8 Reales.

But there would be one simple caveat – the coins would all have to be beautiful, 100% original, uncleaned, and uncorrupted with no damage, no graffiti, no evidence of sea-salvage, etc, etc.

And that proved to be far, far harder than we expected.

But now that it’s done, it’s a pretty cool thing to see. And it can be yours to own.
