Holed at 12 o’clock on the obverse for suspension on a ribbon as are 99% of surviving specimens, but the incredible luster and flash of this piece dramatically exceed most of the ones we’ve seen, including the nice one sold at Stack’s recent Philadelphia auction for $6,325.
