A simply mind-boggling coin.

Struck in ~1694, this coin is somewhere around 315 years old, yet it is a gem by anyone’s standards with substantial vibrant mint red remaining on both the obverse and reverse.

The strike is bold and even, the design is nicely centered on both the obverse and reverse and the surfaces are all but immaculate.

We have absolutely no idea how this coin has survived in this state for more than three centuries, but here it is.
