Dav-8882, Delm-861 variety, issued by the city of Kampen (abbreviated as CAMP. on the obverse using the old spelling with a ‘C’) circa 1597.
Just acquired by us in Europe, this is an unusually nice example of this type with a very sharply struck lion, just-about-completely full legends and a wonderful antique patina.
CRO thanks sharp-eyed Dutch coin expert Dennis Hengeveld for his assistance with this description.
