September 29, 2024: The Devens, MA Coin Show

Let the record show that on a beautiful fall morning (as evidenced by the pumpkin display in our show photo) Team CRO rolled into Devens for our first show at this venue since waaaaay back in June.

Q: Why the looooong hiatus?
A: Hey, we go to all of these, and that was the last one they held.

Anyway, we arrived around 8, carefully laid out our wares and began a day that I would characterize as productive, as we met with 4 collectors who told us they were coming to do some business or other:

• Picking up coins purchased off the website.
• Dropping off memo coins.
• Giving us coins to send to grading and/or CAC.
• Settling up on memo coins we sold.
• Paying us for auction representation / assistance.

And then did a bunch of unplanned deals buying and selling, and had a slew of activity with other dealers of the buying, selling and consigning variety.

Allowing us to leave with a couple pieces of high end gold, a cool world coin and half a dozen new US coins firmly in the CRO sweet spot.

So that’s really pretty good for a show that costs us a grand total of $60 to attend.
