B-2, BB-81 variety, 15 Stars, Small Eagle Reverse type. Considered to be Rarity-3.

This is the first 1798 Small eagle Dollar we’ve owned in 25 years of doing this, which is not particularly surprising since this is a very tough issue with a limited supply of nice coins. Indeed, CAC has stickered just 14 of these in any semi-affordable grade  of XF45 or below, of which this is the most affordable (i.e. lowest graded).

And this is a charming example with nice coin gray color, smooth even wear and no serious distractions.
