Concept:
Since this lovely C. Bechtler G$1 was struck in Rutherford, NC, we decided to go with a Sweet Caroline / Sweet Carolina switcheroo playing off the famous song by Neil Diamond.

And why wouldn’t we? This is about the sweetest example we’ve seen, with fantastic color, excellent eye appeal, housed in an ooooold PCGS slab and blessed by CAC with a Gold sticker.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
Our inclination was to go with a “Nothing Could be Finer than this [insert coin type here] from Carolina.” idea, but of course we’ve already done that twice through the years, first in 2012, and then the new and improved Version II in 2014.

And really twice is enough, isn’t it?
