Concept:
The moment we laid eyes on this superb, original, old toned, well made, high grade Wildman Thaler we knew it would one day grace a CRO ad.

Like this one in which this piece is highlighted by a perfectly appropriate 1972 Lou Reed song title gently encouraging the reader to branch out into 17th century German States coinage.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We knew we wanted to go in this direction, though there admittedly was some hesitation since we ran the similar but not quite the same “Take a Walker on the wild side.” waaaay back in August of 2009.

But since that was a different caption highlighting a different kind of coin, we figured it was fair game here.
