Martin 4.5-Gc.25, considered to be Rarity-6.

A rare and unusual variety with an extreeeeemely late die state obverse defined by very pronounced cracks and cuds that nearly obliterate King George (or make it appear as though he has an extremely bad case of goiter).

The reverse, on the other hand, is a sharp, nearly perfect die state with just some thin, spindly cracks around the perimeter.

The first we’ve seen like this and very cool overall.  Quite choice too, with nice color, hard surfaces and no obvious reason why this coin is not in a 64 holder.

Note that this coin has been verified by CAC.
