A lovely, all original, golden brown example of this extremely underrated issue.  Indeed, we probably see one hundred 1723 Farthings for every 1724 that comes are way.

And this is among the nicest we’ve seen, with just a couple of mint state pieces having come to market in the last 15 years or so.
