Breen-242, Friedus 3.2-C, W-8260 variety, Broad Ax type, with the distinctive VALUE ME AS YOU PLEASE and I CUT MY WAY THROUGH legends.  Considered to be Rarity-7.

This might be the single most detailed Higley we’ve owned, with sharp legends and the interesting little hand and star details therein clear and bold.  Just some obverse striations in the planchet, as made, relegate this piece to the ‘relatively affordable’ category; without them this coin would be double this price.

Still pleasing overall, with chocolate and reddish brown color and none of the post minting damage seen on so many Higleys, including those in holders of both grading services.
