Miller 4.1-F.4, W-2355 variety, the so-called African Head type.
Waaaaay back in 1859, numismatist Montroville W. Dickeson used the name ‘African Head’ to describe this variety in his famous reference The American Numismatical Manual, well before CRO was even a thing.
Throughout the intervening 167 years this has been a popular issue based on its charming, folk art-style design.
And this is a lovely collector grade example with choice golden brown color, a nice smooth planchet, a bold portrait and excellent eye appeal.
Note that this coin has been verified by CAC.
