And this is a charming, totally original example of an infrequently seen Connecticut variety with the very distinctive ‘double chin’ obverse portrait.

Just a few striations bear mention, most noticeably across the central reverse, but the strike is relatively strong, the color is an ideal golden brown and the overall eye appeal is excellent for this issue.
