Miller 1.2-C, W-2720 variety, Early Die State. Considered to be Rarity-3.
One of the most popular Connecticut varieties, undoubtedly due to the cool nickname, and the fact that the seated figure on the reverse is topless (don’t blame me – I don’t mint these coins, I just describe them).
And this is a desirable and infrequently seen EDS that shows this design as the makers intended, with stronger legends on the obverse and reverse and a fuller date than typically seen on this issue.
Just a bit off-center on the obverse, but a smooth and appealing rich brown overall and a good choice for type.
