B-23, BB-159 variety, 8×5 Star Redbook type (though not indicated as such on the old PCGS slab label). Considered to be Rarity-4.
A really neat issue, with the very distinctive and not especially well planned obverse with 8 stars crammed onto the left side and just 5 comfortably placed on the right.
And this is the second really nice, old-holdered Draped Bust Dollar we have had recently (the other being a ‘typical’ 7×6), with pleasing coin-gray color, pretty russet and golden toning and excellent eye appeal.
Note that this coin has been verified by CAC.
