Newcomb-3, the ‘Medium Letters’ Redbook type, though this specimen was incorrectly designated by PCGS as coin number 1678 (which is the much more common ‘Large Letters’ type) and not the correct PCGS number: 1680 ‘Medium Letters’ designation.

We’ll let the next owner decide if having PCGS make this correction is worth losing the green label holder.

The coin itself is lustrous and nice for the grade.

Note that the slab has a verification sticker from CAC.
