An interesting piece which his lived a more adventurous life than most $20 Libs:  Minted in New Orleans in 1851, sailed from San Francisco in 1857, recovered from the sea floor off the coast of South Carolina in 1988, slabbed by PCGS in this neat gold foil SSCA holder circa 2000 and delicately placed on this EB list today.

And this is a boldly-struck example of one of only eight 1851-O $20s recovered during the first exploration of the S.S. Central America, with only three more surfaced during the latest recovery effort.

In all, a neat S.S. Central America New Orleans relic much less common than the sea of 1856-S and 1857-S coins in the numismatic marketplace.

Note that this coin has been verified by CAC.
