An intense blue obverse with hints of russet in the deep recesses of the design reminds this author of a cooling ember in a fireplace (sort of). 

This is most likely an end roll toner, since the reverse is brilliant with a blast of pretty blue and golden orange toning at the rim. 

Quite striking overall.
