B-216, W-11500 variety, the rare type with the bizarro Large 8 Below the King.

A neat coin which is one of a very small number of pieces in the Newman offering purchased by Mr. Newman ‘recently’ (relatively speaking), with this coin added to the collection in March of 1988.

Presumably because it’s a lovely example of a rare variant, with smooth, chocolate brown surfaces and a cool, oversized brass splasher.
