Fresh and lustrous, with nearly 100% of the original, brilliant, fiery mint red remaining on both the obverse and reverse. And, importantly, the color is demonstrably stable, since this coin has been in this holder for at least 17 years (since according to slab researcher Michael Schmidt, this PCGS style #4 holder was discontinued in 1995).
